| Laser Hair Removal:
Excess hair can be a result of certain hormones,
medication use, or genetic predisposition. Of course,
even a small amount of hair can be undesirable when it
is located in an obvious or unusual area or when it is
thick or dark in color. Numerous methods exist to remove
unwanted hair, including shaving, waxing, depilatory
creams, and electrolysis. Unfortunately, all of these
treatments provide only temporary results. Even
electrolysis has failed to produce permanent hair
removal in most cases. Specific lasers to target hair
follicles have been developed to treat unwanted hair
effectively.

Laser Skin Rejuvenation: Skin aging occurs in
part due to the loss of collagen and elastin in the
dermis. Additionally, atrophic scarring, which is often
seen as a result of acne or chicken pox, is more
visually apparent as a result of reduced collagen in the
depressed scar tissue.
Nonablative skin rejuvenation is a treatment that
stimulates collagen production in the dermis and employs
a wavelength of laser energy.

a photosensitizing agent called Levulan and a special
